Crawfo Productions started back in 1996 when Marcus Crawford would steal his parents 40 lb VHS Camcorder to record him and his friends skateboarding. His method back in the day was a simple, but tedious one. He would film day and night and then polish his work using the most advanced technology that a teenage boy could find in the mid nineties: VCR to VCR editing. No skateboarding video would be complete without a soundtrack featuring Millencolin’s “No Cigar” and end credits written on a sheet of paper, all painstakingly done by the young Marcus.
His passion has remained unchanged over the years, but his gear got better, his editing methods improved, and he added still pictures to his repertoire. In 2006, he advanced his craft by attending Pittsburgh Filmmakers to study film and photography. He prides himself as a documentary filmmaker, specializing in short films and of course, skateboard videos.
Currently Marcus works full time as a truck driver which pays the bills and has allowed him to upgrade his film and photography gear to a professional level. As an artist who loves what he does, he is willing to record or shoot any situation. He has tons of experience in the music industry and is skilled in the realm of live music and band promotion.
Have a special moment coming up in your life and need it to be a lasting memory? Marcus can turn any shoot into a treasured family photo, senior picture, Christmas card, portfolio shot, or anything in between.
He can even do aerial photography and filming!!!
